Separated, soon to be divorced, single mother of one 6 year old son living with me. I do have 3 grown children not living at home.

I like all types of music and I love horror movies and anime as well as dramas and lots of international film. Pan's Labyrinth is a fave.

I am a student a PSU majoring in Japanese Language with the hopes of either living in Japan as a teacher of ESL or working somewhere in the US as an interpreter/translator. (Note: I am only a first-year Japanese Language student, so I'm not anywhere near fluent)

I have been interested in Japanese culture since grammar school, but have recently become interested in Pan Asian cultures. Teach me about your culture!

I'm of mixed ancestry, so I really don't have a "true culture" to speak of. I guess mostly Caucasian, African American and Native American would be my ancestry, but I guess that just makes me American! :)

I am looking for someone who I can have fun with. I'm open to making platonic friends as well. I would like to meet an Asian man (American born or Immigrant) who I can have fun with and cuddle with and talk with and eat with.

I'm very tall at 5'8", so it would be great if you were okay with that. I do prefer a man taller than me, or at least as tall as I am. I prefer the look of the single lidded eye. I do prefer that you be somewhat in shape even though I'm not in the best shape myself right now. I don't expect perfection and a little chubbiness is perfectly fine with me, but a willingness to work out together is a plus because I find that having someone to be accountable to helps me to work out more regularly. I'm pretty open minded on looks, so if you don't fit that exactly, don't despair. Personality fit is more important to me. Do you like to cook? I enjoy cooking too! Let's cook together.

On another note, I'm not looking for a father for my son because he has one, but someone who is okay with a 6 year old boy being around is definitely going to be a good thing since my son is with me most of the year. During the summer, he goes to his dad's family.

I love to read, write and I am an excellent singer! I love karaoke! I enjoy drinking and partying to a reasonable extent, but haven't been out and about much since I've been in school since I moved to Portland in 2011. Do you know the area? Are you willing to show me around? I would love to get out sometime.

I do have tattoos and a couple of piercings (nothing intense) and actually, I hope to get more of both.

You may not be a smoker! This one is a definite rule for me! I quit 2 years ago and I want nothing to do with smoking or anyone who smokes! I can't stand the smell since I quit!

Please don't come to me smelling of marijuana smoke. I don't care if you imbibe, but I don't like the smell. I prefer if you use a vaporizer because that doesn't make any smell. Just my preference.

To own a successful business that fits into my interests. Perhaps an anime viewing room with a connected snack shop and book/music/video store. Kind of an all around (I hate to call it this, but...)anime otaku shop for young people to hang out at. A safe place for teens/tweens to hang out and watch anime with their friends and be able to purchase DVDs, Jpop/Kpop CDs, sim games, cosplay items and items that they see in the anime they watch but have a hard time finding in the States. (and no, I don't want to date an Asian because I like anime/jpop! I liked Asian guys long before I ever heard of anime/jpop.)
